Things have been quiet on this blog for a while, I know. I have been busy working on an interesting project that has had me travelling around the country conducting interviews, my camera and tripod trundling in a suitcase behind me. I have been up to Glasgow and down to Devon, admiring rolling views out of train windows and become something of an expert on the UK's rail system in the process.
Tomorrow my project is taking me a little further afield. A suitcase and tripod are standing ready by my bedroom door. At 4:30 tomorrow morning I will be getting up to start my journey, to New York. I was given the opportunity for a great interview so decided not to let it pass by.
I can't wait. Because I really do want to wake up in a city that never sleeps.

Wow, that IS exciting! It was lovely to have you come up to rainy Glasgow and ot meet you in person. Hope the trip goes well and REALLY excited to see the end product.
