Scrap

Tidying my room can feel like embarking on an archaelogical dig. I start work with plans of excavating a large area, but if I uncover a hidden treasure I get distracted and spend the next few hours examining it instead.

The last time I 'tidied' my room, I found six years' worth of diaries. Reading them was a treat, but not the kind of treat I would ever inflict on another human being.

Something else I stumbled across was an old scrapbook that I used to keep. I thought I'd share it as it gives a fairly good representation of what it looks like inside my head.
I want to look like her...
"A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous." Coco Chanel
People often ask whether I'm a 'cat person' or a 'dog person'. I'm a rabbit person.
Heaven is closer than you think: photos I took out the window of a sea plane flying over the Maldives on a magic holiday there when I was younger.
 Next stop, Paradise
"Fashion fades, only style remains the same." Coco Chanel
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
away above the chimney tops
that's where you'll find me

Paint your life a thousand shades and you'll never have a dull day
Wear a crown not a frown

My dream bed. And one of my favourite flowers - snowdrops. Or, as I always thought of them when I was younger, 'snowbells'. I named my pet white rabbit Snowbell after my favourite flower.

Romance is always on trend.
It's what's underneath that counts. Which means a kind heart and a well-stocked underwear drawer.

"Zest is the secret of all beauty. There is no beauty that is attractive without zest." Christian Dior
